Beta Disclaimer

Last updated: April 2026  ·  Beta

Taiva is currently in private beta and is being shared with a limited group of friends and testers free of charge. By installing or using Taiva, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

1. Beta software

Taiva is pre-release software. It may contain bugs, incomplete features, unexpected behaviour, or crashes. It has not been reviewed or approved by Apple for distribution on the Mac App Store.

2. No warranties

Taiva is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The developer makes no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the app for any purpose.

3. AI-generated content

Responses generated by Taiva are produced by the Anthropic Claude AI model. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Do not rely on Taiva's output for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.

4. Data sent to Anthropic

When you use Taiva's AI features, the text of your active document, selected text, or screenshot — along with your question — is sent to Anthropic's API servers for processing. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how that data is handled on their end. See: anthropic.com/legal/privacy

5. Permissions

Taiva requests Accessibility, Automation (AppleScript), and Screen Recording permissions on macOS. These are used solely to read document content and capture screenshots when you explicitly request it. The developer does not collect or transmit this data except as described in section 4 above.

6. No subscription charges during beta

The subscription system is not active. You will not be charged anything during this beta period.

7. Feedback

By using the beta, you agree that feedback you share with the developer may be used to improve the product.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of Taiva or its AI-generated output.

Note: This disclaimer is written for an informal private beta. Before any public release or monetisation, this should be reviewed and expanded into a formal End User Licence Agreement (EULA).
